Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas Day ended with some snow here in Vegas, so we did have a white Christmas after all! Meanwhile, I was able to grab a couple of pictures.

The feeding of the reindeer. And for those who think I torture this poor animal by dressing him up, you may feel justified to know that he did not care for the antlers one bit. He did, however, put up with the bells around his neck, which I may decide to keep on so I know where he is more readily.

Mo likes to curl up and look at the lights. He even liked it after I set up the nativity figurines - so much so that he didn't understand why I stopped him from licking baby Jesus.

He did this to himself. :)

And last but not least, I know it's a little cheesy, but I saw this ornament and really loved it so we got it to commemorate this Christmas. The picture doesn't show it very clearly, but it also has the year on it.

Can you believe it???

So apparently it's a big deal for it to snow in Vegas. I guess it happens only every 30 years or so, or at least they are reporting the last biggest snowfall comparable to this week's was in 1974 and before that in the late 40s. So hoorah! I moved away from the cold and snow just in time to get some cold and snow.

As you can see, there are big fat snowflakes worthy of the Salt Lake valley. But notice that my picture includes the undrained (and yes, still open) swimming pool. I did that on purpose. :)

In addition, I just have to say upon returning from our trip last week, my most prized photograph is one that I took at my friend's apartment. One of her neighbors had the biggest Christmas ornament I've ever seen! And it wasn't hanging from a tree. Oh no. It was hanging from the back (or front, however you look at it) porch! Ahh, I love the South.

And one more thing...we did manage to get a couple of - in my opinion - likeable pictures. Just ignore the unflattering parts, if you please.
